FAQs

  • We treat everyone!

Our foundation in dance gives us a deeply nuanced understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and movement— which benefits anyone in need of PT or wellness services. It also means that we approach things not only from an evidence-based science perspective but also from an artistic and human perspective.

  • Of course. If you currently are dealing with pain or dysfunction in your daily activities, exercise, or work performance, start with a physical therapy evaluation. PT may also be for you if you have medical complexities you are wanting to manage or looking to prevent decline.

Wellness services are for clients who are currently pain free and can perform their daily activities, exercise and work, however are looking to push their performance to the next level.

Still not sure? Call or email us! Or feel free to use the contact form on the website.

  • See the “Schedule” tab in the toolbar at the top of our website. Click the button for the clinic location of your choice which will take you to “Jane”, our booking and records site.

  • Nope. ADM Movement and Wellness can be your primary provider. Physical Therapists in Georgia have direct access privileges after 2 years of practice.

Direct Access for physical therapy means we can see you without an MD referral for 8 visits or 21 days. After that, your PCP or pediatrician can help you get a referral. Or we can help direct you to the correct next provider.

We are free to see wellness clients at any time without a referral!

Please note an asterisk (*) by any provider on the Team page which indicates they do not yet have direct access privileges.

  • In order to provide you the most accessible, highly personalized, and best quality service, we have opted out of all insurance networks.

This also allows us to rightly value the time and skill of our expert clinicians.

We can provide you with a Superbill that includes diagnosis and treatment codes for you to submit to your own insurance for reimbursement.

Please note, out-of-network PT services are often more cost efficient if you have a high deductible insurance plan.

For information on your specific insurance, please contact your provider directly to determine your reimbursement rates.

    Thanks for understanding!

  • Stretchy waistbands are good as well as sleeves and pant legs that can be rolled up or down— so we can access skin when necessary. Thick fabrics like denim or wool can be tricky to maneuver in. Removable layers can also be helpful. Ultimately, we want you to feel comfortable and be able to move.

  • If you have a referral or reports from your doctor, please bring those.

If your injury or performance will involve an instrument, specific wardrobe or shoes, props, etc please bring those items.

You may bring your phone to record videos of you and/or your therapist performing specific exercises. You may use a notebook or your phone to take notes, if you wish.

  • Before your first visit, please reach out to the main ADM contacts. After you and your therapist meet, they can provide you their more direct email.
